MOTIVES
Spending a great deal of my ministry life as a Pastor, I understand every Pastor’s fear of using an outside person or group to minister to their local flock. I will do my best to Honor Christ and respect you during our time together. I promise you that my goal is to help you bear fruit and at the same time, leave you with a healthy congregation! You can rest assured that I will not badger or browbeat your church. I will, with passion and compassion, try to be a useful tool to you that encourages your church to a closer walk with The Lord, each other, and you, as their Pastor. I also desire to be a friend to you, Pastor. Just as you, I have experienced similar joys and heartaches, and would love to be someone that you can pray and share with, in confidence, as well as in openness before God.
COMEDY
My goal is very simple: To go from Craziness to the Cross. The plan is to use Stand-Up Comedy as a springboard into the glorious message of Jesus Christ. I promise you that you do not have to worry about whether or not my material is suitable for your audience. I will never use any crude, embarassing, or inappropriate language or topic themes. I prepare my shows with the end in mind. What I mean is that I know in my mind and heart where God is leading me in my time with your church or event (IE: encouraging the hurting, sharing the gospel, challenging believers to a closer walk with Him), I then build my show around that and head toward what I believe God's goal is for our time together. Like I said, we will go from CRAZINESS TO THE CROSS!
PREACHING
If you give me the opportunity to preach for you and your people, I will, to the best of my ability, seek to preach those messages and teach those principles the Lord lays upon my heart. I will preach challenging messages, but they will be with love, compassion, and a desire to leave you and your people in at least as good as condition as I received you. It is very likely, as an evangelist, that those messages and teachings will be repeated in other meetings. However, I will pray that the Lord will deliver me from preaching "canned sermons" as I prayerfully seek His Word for your people.
DECISIONS
Whether I am doing a comedy show or preaching, I am greatly concerned about forced or coerced invitations that do not produce Godly repentance and change in the heart of the listener. I promise you that I will preach, pray, and pour myself out for you and your church, but I will trust the Lord to give whatever increase He pleases. There will be clear, to the point, opportunities to make life changing decisions for Christ, but I promise you there will be no tricks or pressured invitations.
MONEY
I promise that I will never cancel your meeting for another meeting regardless of any financial offer. I have a very simple policy when it comes to finances. I will come to any church or event regardless of size or location for traveling expenses and a love offering. However, under no circumstances will I promote the offering. The sincere Pastor or event coordinator who uses a Christian Comedian or any other Full-Time Evangelist or Minister will realize the special needs of this calling and will lead the church or organization to give a worthy offering. If the Lord has led you to invite me, He will lead you to know what I need to continue this work. If your people wish to support this ministry outside of the regular meeting time, that is fine, however, I will not seek the names of your people for a mailing list, nor will I write them asking for support after the meeting is over.
